As I began my RV search, I started preparing to downsize from a three-bedroom house to an RV and leave San Diego. First, I cleared things out that I never used. Since I didn't know how much space the trailer would offer, I couldn't determine which belongings I could keep. I scoured listings for every used RV available within my $6,000 budget. Some of the RVs I saw online were very nice-looking, but one minor issue I had was needing space for my studio equipment. Typically, RV furnishings are built-in. While looking at the options, I tried to imagine where I would fit my easel, chair, paints, and brushes. Usually, there was no floor space for these items, and I figured that I would need to remove the built-ins or sit at the built-in table. I've sat at those bench-type seats, but they are uncomfortable. A few RV models had removable rotating cafe chairs, but I couldn't find many within my budget. With two cats and a dog in the mix, I needed an RV that could accommodate a litter box and provide high-up spots for the cats to hide from Bella.
